This prodution was a cooperation between Bent O., IBO studioproductions, Tårs Denmark, and my faithful musical companion and friend, Thor Einar Ribe and myself. I am deeply grateful for all the help and courtesies that both Irene and Bent O. have shown through the whole process. It is therefore a pleasure for me to have him as a contributor on the Danish song on the album. I am also deaply greatful for the work my close colleague Thor Einar has done, from arranging melodies to playing the instruments. Thor Einar is an experienced musician who has contributed on a lot of productions in the country-music genre, and has also played a lot of live shows both in Norway and abroad. It was also a pleasure to get to know one of the great steelguitar-players, Dag Wolf from Bergen. He laid down an inspiring piece of work. It has also been great to get to know Danish Wenche Hartamnn, who took on the task of performing two duets with me. At the time of the recording she was a novice in the buisness, but since then she has made a real impact on the Danish music scene. Early on I labeled hear ”Europe`s answer to Patsy Cline”, and her CD lives up to this labell. It was also good to get to know the Canadian singer Joanne Myrol. She was on a European tour, and managed to help me out with some back-up vocals. The same thing goes for the talented Leif Aase, who I also owe a big thank you.
